On July 10th, Ren Xiaobing, Vice President of China Re Group, was invited to participate in the first China-Italy Financial Forum and was a guest commentator. The forum was held in Milan, Italy, where Minister of Finance Liu Kun and Italian Minister of Economy and Finance Giovanni Tria attended. Nearly 200 people from the financial authorities and the heads of major financial institutions from both sides participated. People's Bank of China, China Insurance Regulatory Commission, China Securities Regulatory Commission, Bank of China, Central Huijin, China Development Bank, Export-Import Bank of China, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Bank of Communications, CITIC, PICC, Life Group, China Re Group, and Silk Road High-level representatives from the Fund and other units, as well as the Chinese Embassy in Italy and the Consulate General in Milan, attended the forum.
Vice President Ren Xiaobing commented on the speeches made by Vice President Tang Zhigang of China People's Insurance Group, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Italy's Union Sao Paulo Group and Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Allianz Bank during the "China-Italy Financial Market Wealth and Asset Management" topic link. He first affirmed the speeches and relevant suggestions of the spokespersons of both sides, combined with the current status and development trends of China's wealth and market management, explained the role of the financial industry and the status of cooperation in the insurance industry in the process of promoting the Belt and Road Initiative, and introduced China Re Group The development status, business advantages and development strategies have put forward proposals for further strengthening cooperation between financial institutions of both sides.
During the meeting, the vice president Ren Xiaobing also had in-depth exchanges with representatives of several Chinese and Italian financial institutions on the current status and future development of financial cooperation between the two countries, as well as other financial issues of common interest. Dong Keshi, the deputy general manager of the strategic customer department of the group company, and Shou Zhenwei, a senior underwriter of China Re Property & Casualty International Business Department, accompanied the forum.
